We are looking for a self-starter, Events Marketing Manager at IREN to lead the strategy and execution of high-impact events that elevate our brand, engage key audiences, and generate commercial momentum. This role will blend operational excellence with creative vision to deliver experiences that reflect IREN’s leadership in AI infrastructure and sustainable innovation. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution - from executive roundtables and industry conferences to large-scale brand activations - ensuring every event drives measurable outcomes and reinforces our market position.
We have grown substantially since 2019, from our inception in Australia to now having several facilities across North America and being listed on NASDAQ… and we are just getting started! Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- 7–10 years of B2B marketing or events experience, ideally within data centers, AI/cloud infrastructure, or enterprise tech
- Proven track record in delivering high-impact events across multiple formats and geographies
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external agency partners
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Comfortable collaborating with senior executives and external partners
- Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, and virtual event platforms
- A data-driven mindset with experience measuring and optimizing event ROI
- Thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and brings strong attention to detail
Job Responsibilities Event strategy & planning :
- Develop and execute an events strategy that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and strategic engagement with target audiences
- Own the events calendar across key regions, aligning with commercial priorities and brand objectives
Event execution & operations:
- Deliver end-to-end event execution, including venue sourcing or fit-out, budget management, logistics, and on-the-ground coordination
- Ensure seamless execution of roundtables, executive dinners, conference attendance and sponsorships, and brand activations
Audience engagement & experience design:
- Design thoughtful experiences that leave a lasting brand impression and deepen relationships with prospects, customers, partners and AI community members
- Work with internal teams and agencies to craft messaging, creative, and on-site touchpoints that reflect IREN’s leadership in AI infrastructure
Partner & sponsorship collaboration:
- Coordinate with strategic partners and co-sponsors on joint events, speaking opportunities, and shared activations
- Manage relationships with vendors, venues, and sponsorship bodies to maximize value and visibility
Performance tracking & reporting:
- Establish event KPIs, track performance, and deliver post-event insights that inform future planning
- Ensure continuous improvement in event effectiveness and ROI through structured analysis
Cross-functional alignment:
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Tech teams to ensure events contribute to pipeline and strategic goals
- Support internal stakeholder involvement and executive readiness for key events
Job Benefits
- Salary range: CAD $80,000 - 90,000, depending on experience
