Mobile Wash truck Operator Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

Job Type Full Time, Permanent

Schedule 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location Shop 9175 - 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Essential Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements

  • Personal Reliable Vehicle
  • CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Class 3Q Driver’s License

Pre-employment

  • Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
  • Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
  • Fitness to Work Assessment
  • Mask Fit Testing

Mobile Wash Truck Operator Responsibilities

  • Washing various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the field with high pressure hose.
  • Ensure proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands and equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping to ensure the mobile wash truck is clean and organized.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the field for the truck and surrounding environment.
  • Load and unload supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment.
  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Mobil Wash Truck Operator Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience as a swamper on a hydrovac truck in an industrial setting is consider an asset.
  • Class 3 license, with clean abstract, is required
  • Physically demanding work conditions - Weather as well as physical
