Job Description
As a Director and Principal Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of data and machine learning platforms that drive innovation and efficiency across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data architecture supports our business goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development of data and ML platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across platforms.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering and machine learning.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
Additional Information
- This position is available in Toronto, Ontario, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Full-time position with an application deadline of 08/01/2025.
