Kinectrics Inc., a direct supplier of laundry services to Bruce Power, is seeking dedicated Laundry Line Workers for a short-term contract position at their facility in Teeswater, ON. Wage starts at $24.75 per hour.

About The Role
The Laundry Line Worker will be trained to perform the cleaning process for a variety of soiled laundry items. This process utilizes a range of machines including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, conveyor systems and folding machines. Other tasks could include:
- Sorting & Classifying Soiled Laundry in Appropriate Silos
- Preparing the Shipping & Receiving of Customer Laundry
- Logging Items by RFID Tag & Sorting for Processing
- Using Proprietary Software to Save Records of Operations
- Loading & Unloading Customer Laundry from Machines
- Hanging Plastic Suits on Drying Racks
- Moving Carts/Silos Around Facility
- Manual Folding & Packing of Items
- Operating & Managing Machine Processes (On/Off, Temperature Levels, Timing, Etc.)
- Inspecting Articles for Wear, Tear & Colour Issues - Repairing Accordingly
- Performing Oversight of Process Lines & Aiding Where Needed
- Other Tasks as Assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to Acquire Nuclear Grade Security Clearance
- Able to lift 50lbs repetitively
- Must be available to work all shifts
- Demonstrated Experience Working in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to Work Under Pressure with the Ability to Multi-Task
- Team Player with Ability to Work Independently
- Strong Verbal & Written Communication in English
- Basic Computer Literacy Skills (Microsoft Office & Other Proprietary Software)
- Ability to Follow Basic Instructions & Established Procedures
- Flexibility to Rotate Between Process Lines
- Experience in Commercial Laundry Considered an Asset
- Knowledge of Radiological Safety Considered an Asset
