About the role

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our team as Accounts Receivable / Accounting Administrator. In this role, the successful candidate must have maturity, commitment and professionalism. You should be able to handle a flexible workload, with structured items as well. Working in the dealership environment can be challenging, but also very rewarding and fun.

In this role, the Accounts Receivable / Accounting Administrator will be responsible for items such as:

Accounts Receivable - Multi-Company Environment:

  • Processing and applying payments to accounts
  • Ensure AR aging does not exceed 60 Days
  • Following up on Past Due accounts
  • Facilitating credit checks for New Customers
  • Set up new customer charge accounts in CDK
  • Running and sending Month End AR Statements

Administrative Duties

  • Daily Cash Reconciliation
  • Create and Post Daily Bank Deposits
  • Post various electronic payments
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Other additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate has the following:

  • Experience in an Automotive Dealership environment.
  • A background in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant major or program concentration.
  • Having experience with ADP or CDK is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Excel is required with an aptitude for learning new computer programs and applications.
