About the role

Company: Rostel Industries Location: Calgary, AB Rostel Industries, a division of Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership has an opening for a Painter , eager to roll up their sleeves and contribute to a lively work environment. This position will work out of Precisions Manufacturing Shop in Southeast Calgary.

Summary Precision Drilling is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team in supporting its coatings department. This is a full-time position based out of Rostel Industries, Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with coatings supervisor on project status
  • Spraying drilling rig components large & small using airless & pressure pot equipment
  • Movement of material and equipment
  • Participate in the Precision’s safety programs
  • Additional coatings duties as required.
  • Overtime as required

Knowledge & Skills Must be willing to work in and participate in a safety conscious environment.

Must be motivated and have excellent communication skills

Candidate must have a positive attitude with the ability to work & communicate well with others and on their own.

Must be a self-starter, able to meet performance targets set out by the coating’s supervisor & in accordance with company values and objectives.

Ability to work with tight timelines

Must be willing to work in safety conscious environment

Excellent communication skills and a proactive team player

Attentive to details

Education Minimum high school diploma

Experience Experience with urethane products

Experience with two component paint products

Experience with airless, and pressure pot spray equipment

Ability to understand TDS and spray according to paint spec

Ability to use coating inspection equipment

Forklift experience an asset
