Your Role:
As a Dietary Aide, you will be part of a dynamic Dining Services team dedicated to delivering high-quality service in a friendly, respectful, and resident-focused environment. Your attention to detail and hospitality will ensure every mealtime is a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take resident and guest orders while adhering to individual dietary requirements and preferences
- Serve meals and beverages with care and professionalism, promoting dignity and comfort
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including resetting tables, sorting linens, and general sanitation
- Follow food safety, infection control, and Public Health standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support residents and special events
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Smart Serve Certification
- Completion of the Food Service Worker Program is preferred
- Previous food service experience in long-term care, hospitality, or restaurant setting is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine team spirit
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
