What will you be doing? As an Area Director , you will be managing the daily operation for 6-8 assigned childcare centres. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the assigned childcare centres to ensure they operate in accordance with the BrightPath & Alberta Licensing Regulations.
- Completing administrative duties such as audits for classrooms to ensure policies and procedures are enforced & setting action plans for centres.
- Building positive working relationships with families.
- Understanding the financials of the centres to meet their full potential.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education - Level 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
- 5+ years in relevant management role
- Strong leadership, time management, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills necessary
- Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
