About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Writer to own the creation and maintenance of our Help Center content. This role is critical in helping our customers find clear, accurate, and timely answers as we grow and evolve our platform. You’ll work closely with Product, Support, and Engineering teams to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and engaging Help Center articles for new product features.
- Audit and update existing Help Center content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Partner with Product and Support teams to gather insights on feature changes and customer pain points.
- Develop content templates and style guides to ensure consistency across documentation.
- Manage documentation updates in line with product release cycles.
- Incorporate feedback from internal teams and users to continuously improve content quality.
- Track content effectiveness using Help Center analytics and make improvements accordingly.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience writing technical documentation for SaaS platforms.
- Ability to understand complex technical features and translate them into plain language.
- Experience working with product managers, engineers, and support teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk Guide, Confluence, Notion, or similar.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple content projects.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience documenting APIs or integrations.
- Background in fintech, data, or B2B SaaS products.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced writing tools or chatbot documentation.
The compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $40 USD per hour.
