About the role
As a Senior Associate in Know Your Client (KYC) Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough due diligence on new and existing clients, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of KYC processes and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the compliance program.

As KYC Operations Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conducting comprehensive KYC reviews for new and existing clients, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified

Conducting research and documents findings into clear, concise summaries to support decision-making
-
Identifying and assess potential risks associated with client relationships, escalating issues as necessary

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client information and KYC documentation in accordance with service level agreements
-
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of KYC processes.

Staying informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices related to KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

Assisting in the development and implementation of KYC policies and procedures.

Providing support during internal audits and regulatory examinations
-
Demonstrate critical thinking by proactively identifying problems and contributing to meaningful process improvements

This role is subject to regular quality reviews to ensure compliance with professional standards and continuous improvement in service delivery
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

Experience in KYC, AML, or a related compliance role
-
Proficiency in MS Office Suite

The ability to utilize data to gain business intelligence and insights
-
Clear, articulate, and confident written and verbal communication skills
-
A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards

Professional certification in AML or KYC (e.g., CAMS, CKYCA)
