Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, with the ability to inspire and guide team members to achieve store goals.
Duties
- Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in retail sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain an organized store environment by ensuring products are properly priced and displayed.
- Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash register integrity.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on staff scheduling, inventory control, and promotional activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in retail management is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication skills can enhance customer interactions.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
