As a Supply Chain Professional – Contact Specialist, you'll support key procurement and contract management activities across critical scopes including Fluid Hauling, Repairs & Maintenance, Industrial Cleaning, Turnaround Support, and Lease & Road Maintenance. Manage end-to-end contracts, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and driving cost-effective solutions. Analyze complex terms, lead sourcing initiatives, and optimize supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and Execute Contracting Strategies: Collaborate with business areas to understand requirements and create competitive procurement strategies for goods and services, including consolidating needs across the organization to optimize spend
  • Manage Full Contract Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end contracting process from RFP to award, including negotiation, execution, post-award management, change orders, and closeout, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery
  • Vendor and Market Engagement: Conduct market research, maintain supplier networks, and stay informed on market trends and opportunities to support strategic sourcing and competitive contract awards
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with legal, risk, finance, and operations to ensure contracts align with company policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., AER, CER), and environmental standards
  • Field-Focused Procurement Support: Select and evaluate field-specific vendors and services, addressing unique challenges in remote environments while ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory, and safety requirements
  • Drive Efficiency and Mitigate Risk : Analyze field supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve performance, and implement risk mitigation strategies related to logistics, supplier reliability, and regulatory changes

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry certifications (e.g., SCMP, CPIM) are an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Management or Supply Chain, including at least 5 years specializing in contract management
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in category management, full contract lifecycle, and stakeholder engagement, including gathering requirements, explaining processes, building buy-in, developing clear scopes of work, and creating effective negotiation strategies.
  • Creating clear and complete scopes of work and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for a range of services and materials
  • Conducting analytical evaluations, leading commercial and legal negotiations, and finalizing agreements
  • Proficiency with contract management systems and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
