Job Description

Driven by innovation and commitment, it plays a key role in the transition to a green economy by supporting our clients in their strategies of sustainable development, decarbonization and adaptation to climate change.
As part of our growth and drive to amplify our impact, we are looking for an enthusiastic, senior-level Sustainability and Decarbonation consultant who wants to put their expertise at the service of meaningful projects and build a carbon-neutral future. As part of our team, your expertise will be put forward to our clients, providing them with strategic, technical, and operational recommendations to help them achieve their decarbonization objectives. You will have the opportunity to carry out projects of varying scope, sometimes even leading entire components of larger projects, as well as implementing decarbonization strategies.
Main responsibilities

Lead various decarbonization projects, often large-scale, ensuring the development of plans, milestones, and deliverables, meet client expectations, coordinate necessary resources, and respect quality, deadlines and budgets.

Contribute to business development efforts, by identifying opportunities, participating in events (conferences, presentations, etc.) and helping to draft service offers.

Collaborate in a work environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge and best practices (mentoring, coaching, training, etc.).

Keep abreast of the latest advances in the field (technological innovations, regulatory developments, and emerging market trends).

Contribute to the development of new services, tools, and methodologies to stimulate innovation.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops.

Perform data analysis and reporting to support client decision-making.

Prepare documents and presentations to present project progress, results, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- University degree in environmental science, sustainable development, biology, engineering, business, or related field. A master’s degree will be considered an asset.
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in strategic consulting or advisory services in the fields of decarbonization, climate adaptation, or related areas.
- Solid knowledge of the decarbonization field, including regulatory policies, available subsidies, emerging technologies, and industry trends (e.g., GHG protocols, ISO14064, TCFD, SBTi, ISSB, PIEVC, ISO14091, etc.).
- Ability to adapt to the realities and requirements of client projects and develop a trusting partnership.
- Strengths in strategic development and proposing solutions or innovations in the field of decarbonization.
- Ability to manage priorities and organize work in a context of sometimes multiple projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office suite and data analysis software (Excel, Power BI, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Good command in French will be considered an asset.
- Climate change adaptation skills, an asset
- Ability to integrate biodiversity issues into strategies to maximize project co-benefits and resilience, an asset.
