About the role
Technical Writer
As a Technical Writer, you are responsible technical writing for all INDAL manufactured military and commercial electromechanical systems used in naval applications for worldwide distribution. You will provide end user field manuals, as well as providing support for internal integrated logistic support (ILS) and engineering documentation.

Your Challenge:
- Marketing department (proposal) effort.
- Military and commercial program customer training.
- Engineering field service support.
What You Bring:
- Excellent technical communication skills (oral and written).
- At least 3-4 years previous experience technical writing involving electromechanical systems
- Comfortable working with production floor assembly and test personnel.
- Ability to work independently with prioritization of multiple projects.
- Adobe FrameMaker Desktop Publishing software application, or similar publisher.
- Able to read schematics (e.g., electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic).
- Microsoft Word and Excel application skills.
- Good business system experience (e.g. Oracle or similar).
- Knowledge of Creo CAD System, or similar (i.e. Pro-E CAD System).
- ISO Draw application (or, Arbortext Epic Editor application).
- Full MS Office suite.
- . Must possess the appropriate engineering university or college degree/diploma.
- Samples of previous writing is an asset.
