Job Title: Data Warehouse ETL Developer (Contract, Remote)
Duration: 1 Year (Starting August 2025)
Clearance Required: Reliability (Must already have clearance – submit certificate with application)
Location: Fully Remote (Must provide own equipment)
Schedule: Rotational on-call support on weekends and holidays from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Data Warehouse ETL Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse and analytics architecture. You’ll work closely with architects and business partners to deliver secure, scalable, and accurate data solutions, ensuring information integrity across the EDW environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and support data warehouse systems and data marts
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Participate in testing and troubleshooting of technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex Data Warehouse issues
- Identify opportunities for improvements in systems and processes
- Develop ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage in a SQL Server / Windows environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in data warehouse and ETL development
- 5+ years working with IBM InfoSphere DataStage
- Experience with Cognos Data Manager
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling (logical & physical), and SQL Server
- Solid grasp of technical testing tools and methodologies
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in English and French
- Experience with IBM Cognos BI (Report Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer, Query Studio)
