Your Opportunity
Our Dartmouth, NS office is looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Geotechnical Team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Working with Project Managers, produce client-ready invoices
- Updating data bases, in particular for budget tracking purposes.
- Support opening and set up of projects, reviewing contract agreements for special invoicing requirements.
- Ensuring all assigned functions are carried out in compliance with approved policies, practices and procedures.
- Regularly updating project budgets, helping Project Managers to manage their billings within budget.
- Support project invoicing, having invoices generated based on instructions received from Project Manages and ensuring invoices are accurate and issued to the client in a timely basis.
- Liaise with clients, field and office staff as required.
- Performs clerical tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning etc.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- A strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and have a commitment for excellence in your field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude
Education and Experience
- Previous administrative experience or post-secondary administrative education is considered an asset.
