Administrative Assistant - Compliance
About the role
Job Summary: ABM College is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Compliance team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure efficient compliance operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will assist in managing compliance documentation and support the development of compliance resources to maintain adherence to provincial laws and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support for compliance related activities, including filing documents and responding to emails
- Assess student records to ensure regulatory and internal requirements are met; collaborate with other departments to resolve identified issues
- Update and maintain multiple electronic tracking sheets to ensure accurate and up to date information
Qualifications:
- Superior attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and compliance accuracy.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a compliance or educational environment.
- Strong moral code and sense of ethics, ensuring integrity in all administrative and compliance activities.
- Experience with data entry, managing databases, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining compliance requirements to staff and management.
- Coachable, open to feedback, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Education: post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field is preferred.
