Description Lead Driver Standard Bus is currently seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our Hazelton team as a Lead Driver. This unionized position supports a variety of operational duties. While it may involve driving, it is not guaranteed to be a driving role. Assigned tasks will vary based on operational needs and may include school bus driving, shuttle work, cleaning and washing buses, charters, or other duties.
A $1,000 hiring bonus is available for Lead Drivers hired into Hazelton. You will receive $500 after three months of employment and the remaining $500 after six months. Why You Should Choose Standard Bus

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday – no mandatory nights or weekend work
- Split shifts
- Guaranteed minimum of five hours per day
Wage
- $28.00 per hour, with annual increases as outlined in the collective agreement
Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (PAID Class 2 training provided)
- Clean driver’s abstract with safe driving record
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector search
- Familiarity with Hazelton and surrounding areas is an asset
