Program Overview
- Duration: 2–3 years (based on your experience and progression)
- Location: Must be willing to relocate to Drayton Valley, AB
- Hours: Extended hours and site work required
- Program Type: Full-time, rotational, field-based
What You’ll Do
As a Management Trainee, you’ll rotate through various departments and take on core responsibilities including:
- Supporting field operations and project execution
- Assisting in cost estimation, scheduling, and proposal development
- Participating in safety meetings, inspections, and audits
- Developing quality control and turnover packages
- Collaborating with teams across construction, engineering, and business services
- Engaging in planning, benchmarking, and process improvements
Who We’re Looking For
- Motivated self-starters with a strong work ethic and passion for field construction
- New or recent graduates with a diploma/degree in:
- Construction Technology
- Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Business Administration
- Surveying/Geomatics
- Project Management or related fields
- Journeypersons or certified tradespeople with technical expertise and leadership potential are also encouraged to apply
- Previous construction experience is a strong asset
