Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Situated in Waterloo’s Westmount area, The Carrick is a 12 storey building slated to open in June. This role is part-time hours, based on 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some flexibility. What you will do:
- Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Pick up garbage;
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;
- Other duties as required.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Able to work independently;
- Solid communication skills.
