YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be part of the Procurement Department. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible to receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
- File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to designated storage area. Record inventory in and out as required in SAP
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for people
- Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area for distribution
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
- Open bales, crates and other container
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Weigh, record, reconcile and count items for distribution within site ensuring conformance to company standards
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Proficient in Math and English (Reading and writing)

Understanding of SQL inventory data base systems eg SAP

Computer skills

Capacity to work outdoors in demanding environment

Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 5/2 or a 4/3 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
