Are you ready to use your talent and creativity to make a difference in the success of Canadian entrepreneurs? BDC is recruiting a Student in our Visitor Experience, Event and Marketing Support team at our Vancouver office.

The selected candidate will have to ensure an exceptional experience for all our visitors and employees as well as helping with the preparation and execution of marketing events and activities taking place in our, cutting-edge and inspiring work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Visitor experience

  • Welcome visitors to the office as the first point of contact.

  • Meet and greet employees and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Anticipate the needs of the office to help ensure a seamless positive experience.

  • Ensure that documentation and procedures are maintained and improved to meet and sustain our established standards of service excellence.

  • Manage access cards for visitors and employees, ensuring accurate logging and tracking.

  • Handle office administrative tasks, including maintaining supplies and liaising with building management for maintenance and security issues.

  • Ensure Wi-Fi access for events and day visitors is properly set up and managed.

Event and marketing Support:

  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of visitor experience service offering in Vancouver office as well as activity and event programming in the region by supporting our regional marketing initiatives.

  • Support Marketing and Event Team with event; event logistic and coordination, planning and execution of events.

  • Conduct post-event activities, including sending surveys, tracking KPIs, reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Keen to learn and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Highly organized, with a flexible approach, self-sufficient and solution driven and details oriented.
  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal interactions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software (a plus).
  • Flexible to support morning and evening shifts depending on event schedules as needed.

For this role, a presence in the office is required at all times.

The duration of this employment would be from September 2nd until December 23rd, 2025. You must have completed a minimum of one year of university studies and be registered to continue your studies in the Winter of 2026.
