Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the cargo and providing excellent service to our clients.

Duties

• Operate heavy trucks to transport goods across designated routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery status.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
• Driver’s abstract and a 2 year minimum experience.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic automotive repair techniques is a plus
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
