Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures that align with internal controls and organizational values.
  • Manage AP reporting, vendor analysis, expense reviews, and oversee payment operations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the travel and expense program to ensure timely and policy-compliant submissions and reconciliations.
  • Assist in implementing and enhancing P2P systems (such as Coupa), identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor vendor onboarding and compliance processes; coordinate with legal and procurement for contract adherence.
  • Engage internal stakeholders to improve the end-to-end procure-to-pay process and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

* 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations, with strong familiarity in AP systems like Coupa, Concur, or NetSuite.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring or managing team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive for continuous process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
  • Experience preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close activities.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for identifying automation opportunities and policy enhancements.

Benefits

* Competitive salary within a range of $78,700 to $106,500 CAD, depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Flexible time-off policy with a recommended minimum of 20 days per year.
  • Hybrid work model with two required office days weekly for local employees.
