What the job involves
- To guide the craftspeople who build these digital bridges, we're seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager who understands that modern business moves at the speed of thumbs and fingertips—for entrepreneurs closing deals from coffee shops, CFOs approving payments from airport lounges, and small business owners managing cash flow between client meetings
- We need someone to lead a team of exceptional mobile engineers who can create financial tools that work seamlessly for folks who aren't tethered to their desks but still need to move their businesses and lives forward
- Lead an experienced engineering team of 8, consisting of both Android & iOS engineers, including one backend engineer. The team has been building apps for over a decade and has a strong passion for their craft
- Mentor, retain, and provide feedback to high-performing engineers of all skill levels. You'll contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and calculated risk-taking
- Work closely with engineering leaders, designers, product leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Including selling ideas across teams, influencing product roadmaps, and creating structured approaches that elevate mobile without creating unnecessary overhead for other engineering teams
- Serve as the connective tissue between mobile and the broader engineering organization, translating mobile constraints and opportunities into language that resonates with backend, web, and infrastructure teams
