Within the Telecommunication team, as a Telecommunication specialist:
Your responsibilities
-
Carry out research, recommendations and documentation for the design of solutions and creation of various telecommunications networks solutions. (IP network, Telecommunications (VoIP, fixed or mobile telephone network), Radiocommunication, satellite communication, etc.);

Configure and optimize network components, including routers, switches and firewalls;
-
Convert clients’ business needs into effective IT solutions;
-
Coordinate the validation of the technical content of the solutions with experts;
-
Analyze and evaluate alternative technological solutions to resolve business problems;
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements;
-
Develop technical proposals and entry criteria for suppliers and subcontractors;
-
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that the risks inherent in them are transferred;
-
Participate in the preparation of tenders;
-
Monitor quality standards (ISO);
-
Perform other responsibilities as per the direction and project reequipments.
Your profile
-
Degree in Engineering;
-
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a specialist in one or more required areas of technology;
-
Experience in the design and implementation of telecommunications network in Canada and internationally (Maghreb, an asset);
-
Practical experience in writing technological documentation;
-
Experience in responding to calls for tender and sales support is an asset;
-
Deep knowledge of IP planning and troubleshooting of networks;
-
Practical experience in writing technical documentation;
-
Experience in the development of domestic and international markets;
-
Knowledge of ISO;
-
Good team spirit, communication and decision-making skills;
-
Knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (more specifically Excel);
-
Fluency in spoken and written French and English (for customers outside Quebec);
-
Availability for occasional travel overseas;
