The Position

As the heart of Chow Lucky Noodle Bar, our cooks ensure only the highest quality of food is served to our guests. Chow cooks thrive on a fast-paced, vibrant, and rewarding environment.

Our team at Chow has mastered wok-fired creations in our fiery open kitchen showcasing their ‘noodle-craft’ creating delicious dishes ranging from zesty to the ultimate umami. the Lucky Noodle Bar serves a menu focused on freshness, cultural authenticity, and exciting flavors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain and foster a collaborative, safe and healthy working environment.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food is served to our guests at all times.
  • Follow the Chow brand recipe and presentation specifications, ensure that recipes are being executed to the appropriate portion size, quality and quantity.
  • Maintain the appropriate level of food inventory and station mise-en-place based on business demands.
  • Maintain and applies an advanced and current knowledge of dietary allergens and religious dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure all stations are clean and meet with food safety standards.
  • Ability to train others in cooking techniques.
  • Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ Culinary Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a restaurant kitchen, food service environment
  • Experience in soup, noodle and wok cooking techniques including stir-frying, deep frying and sautéing, marinating, braising
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
