Location: Universal Lincoln

Reports To: Service Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Compensation: $120,000 - 175,000/ per year commission & bonus structure

Position Overview:

The Service Advisor / Writer is the liaison between our valued clients and the service department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the vehicle service process from initial customer contact through to final delivery. You must deliver a personalized and seamless experience for clients, maintaining the high standards associated with a luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients in a warm, professional manner and create a welcoming, VIP experience.
  • Consult with clients to understand their vehicle concerns, service needs, and preferences.
  • Clearly explain recommended services and repairs using language appropriate to the luxury clientele.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain client approvals.
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients throughout the service process.
  • Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Perform follow-up after service is completed to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service interactions and client preferences in the dealership CRM system.
  • Uphold the dealership’s image and brand standards at all times, including personal presentation, workspace organization, and customer interactions.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer and provincial regulatory standards
  • Other duties as required by the Dealership Leadership team or our OEM partners.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education or automotive training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a luxury or premium automotive brand.
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable, safe driving history.
  • Current AMVIC or OMVIC license or the ability to acquire one, as required by the position.
  • Ability to adequately pass a pre-employment background screening.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a refined, customer-centric demeanor.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle high expectations with grace.
  • Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
