Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Finishing Specialist to join our finishing team. This role involves cleaning, grinding, and polishing a variety of metal products (primarily stainless steel), both manually and using power tools or specialized equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for quality, experience in metal finishing, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform metal finishing operations such as grinding, polishing, sanding, and cleaning of stainless steel and other metals
• Use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment to achieve required finishes
• Apply cosmetic and protective finishes to metal surfaces
• Ensure all finished products meet high-quality cosmetic standards
• Follow blueprints and work instructions to complete finishing tasks to specification
• Communicate with quality, production, and engineering teams to resolve any issues
• Perform all tasks in accordance with safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support other production departments as required

Skill Factors:

• Experience in high-end metal finishing (especially stainless steel) preferred
• Proficient with hand tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment
• Familiarity with fabrication and welding is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a metal finishing role

Shift Details:
This is a full-time afternoon shift position. Hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Location:
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, just 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
