About the role
AMG Production Supervisor The AMG Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Production department to consistently meet safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for measuring, reporting and meeting availability, efficiency/quality requirements, ensuring preventive maintenance activities are conducted, optimizing equipment, floor layout & 5S activities.
- Lead the creation of action plans and manages efforts to achieve AMG and plant goals.
- Coaches teaches, and facilitates problem solving, project management, and application of Autoliv Production System Verifies processes and standards are being followed and improved.
- Works to create a positive work environment.
- Establishes roles, responsibilities and expectations for AMG members and follows-up on performance
- Improves capability of AMG members Ensures that employees are adequately trained, that work is performed in a safe and efficient manner and that safety incidents are thoroughly investigated with effective corrective actions.
- Maintains responsibility for human resources related activities, including employee/union relations, annual performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
What Is Required
- University degree preferred, but will review candidates with relevant work experience and a college diploma.
- 2- 5 years of supervisory experiance in a unionized manufacturing environment
