Working in our Ancaster, Ontario facility, you’ll join a dynamic team who’s passionate about making a difference in modern agriculture.
What you'll do
- Provide exceptional customer service, by answering all communications professionally and on a timely basis
- Deal with all customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Act as a liaison between customer or sales representative and purchasing, operations, and finance
- Daily review of Order Status with Details report
- Ensure all orders are shipped on time in coordination with the shipper/receiver.
- Courier – creating and ensuring shipments are packaged, processed and sent out on time.
- Scheduling and notifying customers of back-orders, late orders, and future product deliveries.
- Coordinate with sales representatives on customer requests, issues, pricing, shipment timing, complaints, comments, etc.
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality
- Processing orders accurately
- Acting as a liaison between the customer or sales representative and purchasing, operations, and finance. Must take initiative to solve customers’ issues.
- Promoting and developing our list of in store items
- Ensuring open communication between all departments
- Handling / processing in-store orders via cash, credit, debit transactions as well as credits per the customer credits procedure
- Stocking of shelves; ensuring adequate quantities of stock are displayed and advise purchasing of any stock shortfalls
- Needs to keep up to date with and conform to all corporate policies and procedures, specifically, but not limited to: Bio Shipping Procedures, Customer Service procedures.
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality concerning Plant Products business activities and all related affairs including but not limited to knowledge specific to Plant Products customers and their businesses.
- All other duties as assigned.
Who you are
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skill
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Must possess the ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks
- Commitment to accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Goal oriented
- Highly organized
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys learning
- Knowledge of Excel and other computer programs an asset
