Job Description Job Summary This position obtains customs clearance information on shipments via phone, also processes inbound shipments and maintains verbal contact with the public. This role identifies sales prospects and strategically probes customers for volume expectations.

Job Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours: 12:30 PM-9:00 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week).

Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time).

Work Location: 900 HANWELL ROAD FREDERICTON, NB E3B 6A2

Hourly Wage: $17.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Obtains broker information on shipment so shipments can be accurately assessed for duties and taxes by the designated broker.
• Procures information for potential sales leads from UPS freight customers.
• Sells UPS Brokerage services to suspected sales prospects.
• Performs administrative duties such as processing qualified sales and resolving customer issues.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written English (proficiency) and French (proficiency) communication skills – Required
• Bilingual: English and French (proficiency) - Required
• Previous call experience – Required
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office)
• Previous sales experience - Preferred
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with 90% accuracy
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
