Circuit Stream is a leader in future technology skills training and learning content. We offer world-class educational services for teen and adult learners with a focus on the skills needed to leverage immersive and emerging technology.

We are seeking passionate healthcare practitioners or healthcare educators with a deep understanding of the human body systems, medical cases, and treatment plans to instruct our Healthcare 101 programs to learners aged 13-18. Students will be learning how the human body systems work, and interpret medical data to customize a treatment plan. The ideal instructor candidates for this course should possess a strong foundation in healthcare, as well as some teaching, TA or training experience.

Candidates must be available to teach during the day (9am - 4pm) from August 18-22, at the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and comprehensive classroom sessions with teen learners following the Healthcare 101 course curriculum

• Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to students as they ideate, develop, and iterate on medical date to create a treatment plan

• Showcase proficiency in Healthcare, medical theories and data

• Share real-world experiences, case studies, and insights to offer students a holistic understanding of the field

• Grade assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress within the course

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in the healthcare field

• Bachelor's degree or final year studies in healthcare, or medical related programs

• Proficiency in interpreting data, creating treatment plans, and understanding how each of the human body systems work

• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.

• Innate logical thinking and the ability to inspire and nurture logical thinking in students.

• A passion for guiding and mentoring students, fostering their growth, and providing meaningful feedback.

• Willingness to adapt to evolving curriculum needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

• A collaborative attitude, eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

• A proactive attitude towards ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
