SALARY RANGE: 1****ST STEP: $74,146.80 per annum
2****ND STEP: $78,005.20 per annum
JOB RATE: $82,136.60 per annum

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Liaise with GIS and IT to ensure datasets provide required inputs/outputs in production for Asset and Work Order Management Systems data analysis.
-
Liaise with the Asset Management section to ensure assets identified in the Asset Management Plan are reported as per required standards, including inventories, replacement values of assets, asset condition, deterioration models for replacement, operating and capital costs.

Create and presents reports on customer and technical level of services, cost benefit analysis of future service impacts, analysis, document with recommendations to improve data reporting and level of service delivery.

Provides information for the annual State of the Local Infrastructure Report (SOLI).
-
Reviews, validates and reconciles data on an ongoing basis and/or as requested by management, other departments and/or external requests.
-
Explores data output and investigates any data anomalies, investigate discrepancies in data inputs/outputs and provides recommendations for modifications.
-
Prepares and presents reports for management, other business units, outside agencies and/or as requested.

Part of the project implementation team in the development of asset and work order management inputs/outputs.
-
Actively participates in project team meetings, including minute taking.
-
Actively sends Communication both verbal and written to all stakeholders, keeping them informed on the status of projects.

Works with sectional leads to ensure requirements are documented properly in the RFP document.
-
Participates in the RFP Evaluation Committee, including participating in the vendor rating and selection process.
-
Assist Project and Operations Teams with system upgrades, review functionality changes related to data inputs/outputs.
-
Assists training of end users with data management and data accuracy.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
EDUCATION:
-
High School (Grade 12) graduation plus an additional program of three to four years or equivalent in Business, Public Administration, Urban Studies or related studies.
EXPERIENCE:
-
Over two (2) years, up to and including four (4) years experience in a municipal setting in asset management, project management, and/or GIS systems
OTHER SKILLS AND ASSETS:
-
Certificate in Asset Management, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma is preferred
-
Strong analytical skills
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word), GIS
-
Working knowledge of desktop publishing applications
-
Familiarity with the municipal government legislative and regulatory context
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service
