Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Export/Import Packager and Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing goods for shipment in accordance with Elite's export and import standards, ensuring proper packaging, labelling, and documentation. You will coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that items are packed efficiently and securely, minimizing risk during transit. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and understanding of global shipping protocols will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package and prepare shipments for transportation.
  • Label packages with correct shipping information, including destination addresses, and product details.
  • Track and update all online orders and shipments in real-time.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, meeting both company and customer commitments.
  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and setting an example within the Shipping and Warehouse teams.
  • Maintain an organized, clean packing area to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics or shipping is an asset.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, packaging, or shipping, particularly in import/export.
  • Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, email, excel)
  • Able to understand and communicate oral and written instructions
  • Previous experience delegating tasks in customer service, administration and warehouse settings is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly throughout a shift.
  • Organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations, and modeling practices amongst the Production and Warehouse departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Existing Vacancy

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

This position has a starting salary of $19.00/hr, after 3 months we offer 20.00 per hour after a 90-day review and exceptional benefits. At one year 21.00 per hour with our annual cost of living increases coming into effect.

  • Packaging: 3 years (Preferred)
