Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food handling and meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a safe manner, following proper food handling procedures.
• Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
• Assist with menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
