This role is based in our Oakville office, and reports to the Supply Planning Manager .

Job Summary The Supply Planner ensures that the production build plans are optimized to achieve and exceed organization objectives for service to customers and inventory health, for a portfolio of products (with approx. 1500+ SKUs).
The Supply Planner is a focal point for identifying detailed supply risks, highlighting trade-off decisions to key stakeholders, collaborating cross- functionally, and problem solving, to achieve the supply objectives.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Creates detailed supply plans in the short to mid-term horizon for assigned product categories, to achieve customer service and inventory health objectives, in alignment with the rough-cut capacity plan.
- Proactively identifies and communicates potential supply issues impacting the business. Conducts ‘what-if’ analysis for supply scenarios.
- Develops strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, other Planning functions, and Production Scheduling to problem solve and align on priorities and trade-off decisions in the case of supply shortages.
- Provides master production schedule to the production schedulers on the priorities set from Sales for creating the optimal finite production schedule.
- Works closely with colleagues for raw material replenishment to mitigate raw material supply risks.
- Provides instruction to colleagues for inventory deployment, for balancing of inventory between locations to achieve fill rate and days of inventory objectives.
- Maintains planning master data and addresses non-productive inventory in alignment with Inventory Quality Ratio objectives.
- Drives timely, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Supply Plan.
- Escalates in a timely manner and uses good judgement to intervene as needed to achieve KPIs for fill rates and inventory.
- Creates inventory projection reports for distribution capacity planning and Finance visibility on plan versus forecasts and working capital requirements.
- Creates inventory build strategy

Job Requirements
- University degree with a specialty in Supply Chain, Computers, Data Analytics or Engineering discipline.
- Other useful credentials and training include CPIM and Lean manufacturing.
- 5 years of relevant supply planning experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing or CPG environment; or relevant transferable skills and experience
- Experience with supply planning software desirable (especially SAP-IBP)
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- Strong analytical ability, good judgement, and problem-solving skills
- Customer focus, with the drive for results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to interpret large amounts of data; high attention to detail
- Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI desirable
- Ability to work independently, and as a team player
- Adept at working in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills
