Mechanical Integration Support for Train Design activities, to be provided on-site in St-Bruno,
Quebec, Canada
Key Responsibilities:
List of activities:

Managing on a project mechanical integration activities (specifications thanks to SAMs, 3D detailed design, 2D drawings, weight status) in compliance with QCD commitments by applying Mechanical Métier instructions, processes & tools and manufacturability capability

Supporting verification and validation activities
Responsibilities :
Service Provider is responsible for executing and maintaining Space Allocation Mockups (SAMs) in line with progressive maturity rules, creating annotated SAMs for production supplier coordination, and verifying production supplier compliance. The role includes detailed 3D and 2D design of in-house components, considering allocated volumes, stakeholder interfaces, material specifications, and manufacturability and maintainability constraints, as well as generating assembly drawings and BOMs for industrialization. The Service Provider also plans and leads mechanical integration activities, manages deliverables in accordance with project timelines and standards, prepares and documents design reviews, escalates technical issues with mitigation strategies, and ensures daily coordination with stakeholders. Additionally, the Service Provider validates mechanical deliverables, performs stack-up calculations, and contributes to digital mock-up quality, risk mitigation planning, mechanical decomposition definition, production ramp-up support, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development of certification and validation plans.

Master of Science Degree, Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products with 5 years of experience

English operational in read/writing and technical meetings

Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer)

Time management and reporting skill

Sense of urgency / Priority

Structured and organized with Hands-on approach
