The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various CNC Machining Centres including Fanuc controls, Heidenhain, together with trouble shooting a wide variety of materials.

Job Requirements:
- MUST HAVE 4-YEAR MILLING EXPERIENCE OF METAL PRECISION PARTS
- Skilled operator of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Machining Centres with Fanuc controls/ Heidenhain.
- Ability to perform complete set-ups with appropriate cutting tool selection.
- Thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments.
- Experience managing small team in production machining environment an asset.
- Demonstrates a high level of mechanical aptitude and skill when manual handling machine parts.
- Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials.
- Log all work timelines and tasks in Epicor (ERP).
- Must be quality oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- Maintain positive working relationships when interacting with other plant personnel.
- Adheres to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.
- Adept at reading/understanding Production Sheets for completion of accurate parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).
THIS IS NOT A CO-OP or SEASONAL STUDENT POSITION.
This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 5-8 years Precision Machining Shop experience and a minimum of 4-years on Milling Machines. CNC Certification preferred.
