System Administrator (Information Technology) - 12 Month Contract

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise systems, Office365 Hybrid environment (Exchange Online, EOP, EntraAD), Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Bitlocker, LAPS , Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (imaging, patching, software deployments),
- Manage and maintain enterprise applications and SSO integrations within Okta & Microsoft Entra
- Manage IBM MaaS360, printers, physical and virtual servers (VMWare). Works with vendors as needed.
- System Administration – Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and capacity planning. Develops, documents and standardizes preventative maintenance routines to ensure system availability.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems within a defined scope of work using a ticketing system
- Documentation – create and maintain appropriate system documentation
- Disaster Recovery (DR) – play a key role in maintaining Sienna’s DR plan and annual test
- Reporting – reports any system events as they occur to IT leadership. Provides weekly-monthly-quarterly-annual reports to IT leadership. Prepares relevant reports for Operations team when required
- Projects – Acts as a subject matter expert on projects as assigned. Helps to develop, support and document new technologies.
- Audit – responsible for quarterly audits of Enterprise systems, reporting to internal audit and external Audit as required.
- Vendor Management – manages vendors to ensuring they comply with our vendor management & security policy. Hold meetings with vendors to ensure technical assignments and deadlines are being met.
- Administer tenant-level security controls to protect organizational data, including Conditional Access Policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing, Office 365, and related technologies, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and optimizations.
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Required:
- Windows Server & Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Office365 environment
- Knowledge of VMWare ESXi / VCenter administration
- Administration and maintenance of end user devices – Laptops / Desktops, Mobile devices
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager – application deployment, patch management, reporting
- Oversee and manage the backup processes, ensuring that all critical data is regularly backed up and can be restored efficiently in case of data loss or system failure.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong time management skills
