About the role

Are you a certified E.C.E/Child Caregiver who loves to share the stoke with everyone, young and old? We are looking to recruit Part-Time Child Caregivers for the upcoming Winter season! One of the best features of our Resort is our excellent childcare centre, located at the base of the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts. Compensation Information: $19.00 per hour

Physical Requirement: Medium; work activities involve handling loads up to 20kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding.

Skills you bring with you:

  • Completion of 20 hours in child-related courses required.
  • ECE (British Columbia) qualification preferred.
  • Three years experience working in a childcare facility.
  • Willing to submit to a Canadian Criminal Record Check.
  • Polished interpersonal/motivational skills and highly organized.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills with all age groups of guests.
  • Proven track record in tourism guest services and as a team player.
  • Legally able to work in Canada from November 2025 to April 2026.
  • Proficient use of spoken English.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide a stimulating, caring, inclusive, safe, and clean environment for children aged 3 to 5 years.
  • Ensuring children’s safety by identifying and preventing potential risks and health hazards.
  • Promoting good personal hygiene and hand washing, as well as assisting in housekeeping duties (e.g. ensuring toys, furniture, and equipment are appropriately cleaned and sanitized).
  • Administrative duties include check-in of children, answering phone calls, receiving information from parents, maintaining appropriate confidentiality, etc.
