Position Summary:
Tacten is seeking Rope Access Journeyperson Pressure Welders to join our team in the Fort McMurray area. As a JP Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring welding meets quality and safety standards. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
Position Information:
- Start Date: July 2025
- 14/14 rotation, 12 hour shifts
- Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
- Camp provided
Requirements:
Position Requirements
- Journeyman Welding Certification required
- Valid B Pressure Certification
- IRATA Level 1 required or willingness to obtain
Safety Certifications
- CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO required
- CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry) required
- ESC Fall Protection an asset

Our core service offering includes electrical, welding/fabrication, pipe-fitting, insulation, asbestos abatement, hoisting/rigging, painting and coating, inspection, shutdown/turn around support, removal of equipment or hazards, confined space (including rescue service), furnace and burner de-slags, nuts and bolts removal/replacement, and class surveys.
