We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of the restaurant. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods, keeping guests informed of wait times.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for interacting with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in food service or hotel operations can be advantageous.
