Job Title: Android Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Android engineer to take ownership of technical strategy, design, and implementation for high-impact, cross-platform mobile applications. This is a hands-on role that combines architectural leadership with team mentorship and collaboration across a modern software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical design and architecture for scalable Android solutions that integrate across multiple platforms and teams
• Collaborate within a high-performing mobile development team to build and refine applications from concept to release
• Advocate for engineering excellence by helping define and evolve development practices and tools
• Stay current with emerging technologies and assess how they can enhance product capabilities within the domain
• Act as a mentor and technical resource for junior and mid-level developers, helping to elevate skills and promote best practices

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience building native Android apps using Java and Kotlin
• Proven experience designing and building application architecture and data models for scalable mobile systems
• Strong knowledge of modern Android development frameworks and tools, including RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, and Jenkins
• Demonstrated ability to coach and support team members, and to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related disciplines (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent diploma)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience managing the full software development lifecycle from planning through deployment
• Familiarity with cloud services (such as AWS) and integrating backend systems into mobile platforms
