About the role
The Basic Gist:
Rapscallion & Co. is the reinvention of two of our previous restaurant/bar concepts from the downtown Hamilton area, Rapscallion Rogue Eatery & Two Black Sheep.
Rapscallion & Co. features an ever-changing & elevated menu focused on sharing plates & providing a "nose-to-tail" dining experience. We are looking to bring on some line cooks to be a part of our amazing team.

The Other Bird is a hospitality family that includes The Mule - Hamilton, Rapscallion & Co. (Hamilton, ON), The Mule - London (London, ON), The Mule - Cambridge (Cambridge, ON), and The Mule - Port Dover (Port Dover, ON).
We are a young, growing, and fun-loving company that believes in providing amazing culinary and service experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Act as a leader in the kitchen at all times, and provide consistent support and guidance to all those working with as needed
- Working all line positions, in a competent and confident manner
- Cohesively working with the current BOH team
- Performing all assigned duties as required, including prep responsibilities, deep clean requirements, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Assisting with product ordering and inventory control as needed
- Maintaining a positive and committed “Do Whatever It Takes” attitude
- Receiving direction from Rapscallion & Co.'s management team.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2+ years of Line Cook experience working in restaurant kitchens is required.
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
- Food Handler's Certification is an asset.
