Job Description
The Firm is seeking a Regional Analyst to join the Canadian Sales Private Wealth team in its Toronto office, working closely with the Canadian sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external partners in multiple regions across the country to help develop and prospect new relationships with private wealth partners (i.e. financial advisors, tec.).
- Analyze regional/product sales trends within participating broker/dealer firms and individual financial advisors.
- Manage inbound calls from clients and prospective clients.
- Conduct relationship-building sales calls via the telephone with financial advisors and other licensed professionals.
- Identify sales opportunities and advisor needs, cross-sell ideas and introduce new concepts.
- Develop and implement sales plan strategies for the various sales regions with the primary focus of prospecting new business.
- Work with various departments/individuals within the organization to share best practices to help maximize sales opportunities for Canada.
- Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure maximum business efficiency (i.e., updating and maintaining contact management system).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Curiosity about sales, prior sales experience a plus.
- A strong desire to learn about Capital Markets, alternative investments, mutual funds, private equity, and the impact of economic factors.
- Consultative, client first approach.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A digital and data-driven approach.
- Strong work ethic, high integrity, and strong values.
- Motivated to achieve success, personal growth and with the firm.
- French speaking would be very additive.
