Join a collegial team of five colleagues and establish a consulting community practice with a 1:6-7 funded on-call schedule.

Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (224 acute beds) has a dedicated pediatric ward and new outpatient facility supported by a core team of pediatric nurses, dietician, diabetic nurse educator, and a full-time child life worker.

The hospital has a new state-of-the-art 9-bed, level 2b NICU, providing provincial beds to infants >32 weeks gestation, including short-term ventilation and TPN.

The Nanaimo medical community offers the opportunity for teaching and is a UBC Postgraduate Family Practice Residency Program site.
