SOUTHLAND is currently looking for a Wash Bay Attendant / Bus Detailer to join our team in Edmonton. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the selected candidate is responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior of our company owned vehicles including school busses and staff vehicles.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Pressure wash the exterior of the vehicles including the rims, tires, wheels, etc.
  • Clean the interior including vacuuming, mopping/sweeping, cleaning windows, sanitizing and emptying garbages
  • May be required to check fluid levels and check tires and rims for issues
  • Be aware of Health & Safety issues and ensure all staff is able to work in a safe manner, reporting issues as necessary
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and sanitization of buses in compliance with provincial health regulations
  • May be required to assist office and shop staff with general housekeeping items
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Clear criminal record
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Previous cleaning or detailing experience considered an asset
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs and spend majority of your shift standing, bending and reaching while washing units

Wage: $18.00 per hour
