The Village at St. Clair located in Windsor, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a CASUAL****Scheduling Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join their team.

As our new Scheduling Coordinator / Administrative Assistant you will:
- Work closely with the village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled on a daily basis
- Send out shift requests as per the village collective agreement
- Collaborate with the village leaders to plan for vacation coverage of team members
- Prioritize village needs as per the vacancy report
- Be the point of contact for shift fulfillment with the charge nurse and leaders
- Connect with employment agencies when shifts are not internally filled
- Provide exceptional customer experience while acting as the first point of contact for team member questions about schedules, call-ins and open shifts
- Create exceptional customer experiences for incoming queries, from residents, families and team members
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective administrative support
- Demonstrate thorough attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village
- Be the first point of contact for many of our team, residents, families and visitor.
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
To be successful as the Scheduling Coordinator / Administrative Assistant you will:
- Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Efficient in the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs
It would be an asset if you have:

Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home
