About Us

The Club, which was founded in 1929, offers its members an entertainment and leisure facility, completely equipped with a full eighteen-hole golf course and a par three short case, and a five-sheet curling rink.

The clubhouse features a men’s lounge, women's lounge, mixed lounge, bistro, a ballroom for major

events, and other amenities that contribute to the health, comfort and entertainment of Club members, their families, and their guests.

The Club is a private, non-profit, recreational corporation, dedicated to providing high quality golf, curling, leisure and social activities in a wholesome and friendly environment for the enjoyment and benefit of its members and guests.

Position Summary

The primary role of the Maintenance/Locker Room Person is to look after the overall cleanliness of the locker room, and areas around the Clubhouse. You should have exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to any situation to succeed in this challenging but rewarding role.

This is a permanent year-round position.

Must be available to work the following;

• Mornings

• Afternoons

• Weekdays

• Weekends

• Holidays

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

· Maintain a clean and tidy locker room (Mens & Womens).

· Responsible for overall cleanliness of the Clubhouse. (Common areas, washrooms, hallways, entrances, etc…)

· Laundering towels and restocking the locker room area.

• Cleaning members golf shoes and putting them away in the members locker.

· Assist with setups for different events, as well as setups on the course during tournaments.

· Assisting with putting away deliveries, and restocking the beverage cart when product is low.

· Cleaning and restocking of the member washrooms on the golf course, as well as refilling the water stations on the course.

• Tending to member's requests, questions, and concerns.
• Ensuring that the venue and facilities remain neat and clean.
• Ensuring that all applicable safety regulations are communicated and adhered to.
• Provide an excellent level of customer service, sometimes in stressful situations.

Education / Work Experience / Skill & Knowledge

• High school diploma or GED.
• Great time management and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• The ability to provide an excellent level of customer service, even in stressful situations.
• Physically fit with good stamina for physical tasks such as moving and lifting furniture and standing for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work long hours, irregular shifts, and on weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and willing to take initiative.
